One shared map for safer roads.

CoitsMoves gives every road user – cars, buses, taxis, mopeds, cyclists, walkers and runners – routes that fit how they travel, and lets the community report road danger, damage and crime straight to the people who fix it. Being built for the whole UK – piloting in London now.

New · Walk, Run & Drive

Walk, run or drive — and fix your streets as you go.

CoitsMoves's Walk & Run mode plans beautiful routes on foot and turns every walk or run into a chance to make your neighbourhood better.

Scenic loops through parks

Choose a distance and CoitsMoves builds a loop through nearby parks and green spaces that starts and ends at the same spot.

Custom routes

Prefer your own way? Plan a custom walking or running route from A to B.

Drinking water on the way

See public drinking water points near your route so you can refill as you go.

Pace, distance and calories

Track distance and pace, with an estimated calorie count for every walk or run.

Report what you see

Spot a pothole, damaged surface, litter, fly-tipping, graffiti, an overflowing bin or broken glass? Add a photo and the exact location in a few taps.

Drivers and riders too

While driving, one 'Hazard here' tap saves a draft at your position – finish the photo and details after you've parked.

To the right local council

Each report is matched to the London council responsible for that spot, so it goes to the people who can fix it.

Private safety reports

Drugs, antisocial behaviour or another safety concern? Tap to report privately. Only verified authorities (portal planned) and the HeyCoits team can see it. Not monitored 24/7 — in an emergency call 999. Forwarding to Crimestoppers planned. You can also report to the police, or anonymously via Crimestoppers.

Reports are sent for the council to review – we can't promise when, or whether, a problem will be fixed. No council partnerships are signed yet.

Why HeyCoits?

Built for the whole UK, piloting in London. Google, Apple and Waze are built mainly for cars. We are building one shared map for everyone on the road – with routes that are legal for your vehicle, and a community that keeps the map honest.

Safer roads

Report road damage in seconds

Spot a pothole, broken pipe or dangerous surface? Add a photo and the exact location in a couple of taps. CoitsMoves shows who it will be sent to before you send it.

Sent to the right authority

Reports are routed to the responsible London council via FixMyStreet, and water leaks go to Thames Water. No more guessing which website to use.

Hazards everyone can see

Reported hazards appear on the shared map so the next rider or driver is warned. Routes can steer around them while the repair is waiting.

Smarter routes

Legal for your vehicle

Every route respects the rules for the vehicle you choose – turn bans, access restrictions and more. If it isn't legal for you, we won't send you there.

Bus lanes by vehicle and hours

Bus lane access depends on what you ride and the time of day. CoitsMoves checks both, so you use bus lanes only when you are allowed to.

20mph limits built in

London's 20mph streets are part of the route calculation, so arrival times are realistic and you always know the limit.

Every road user

Walk, run or drive — and fix

Scenic park loops, custom routes, water stops and calories on foot; one-tap hazard drafts while driving – report street problems or safety concerns wherever you are.

Mopeds 50cc and 125cc+

Different engine sizes have different rules. Pick yours and the map plans routes that fit it.

Cyclists, cars and taxis

Cycle, car and taxi modes each follow their own rules and preferences – one map for the whole street, not just one kind of traffic.

Community power

Neighbours helping neighbours

The map gets better every time someone shares what they see. Community help means local knowledge reaches the people who need it.

Live traffic from the road

Closures, accidents and jams can be reported as they happen, helping everyone reroute early and easing congestion.

Easier crime reporting

The Police button opens the Metropolitan Police's own online form for the right type of crime – theft, drugs, dangerous driving or antisocial behaviour – or lets you report anonymously via Crimestoppers.

SOS when it matters

Quick access to emergency help from the map. In an emergency, always call 999.

Privacy & trust

Designed for UK GDPR

We design for UK GDPR compliance from day one, collecting only what the map needs to work.

Honest by design

Harrow → Catford, 04:15 – miles
CoitsMoves 125cc19.9 miApple Maps (car)35 mi

Rider-reported. Apple figure (65 min, 35 mi) from the rider's screenshot; the CoitsMoves time (53.6 min) is the app's own estimate, which tends to be optimistic.

36 fixed trips vs TomTom car route – fewer miles
08:306.6 %13:009.1 %18:007.2 %

125cc, predicted for Wed 14 Oct 2026; 26 London + 10 Dublin trips. Shorter on 20–24 of 36 trips.

Same 36 trips – where we lose: time
08:305.9 % slower13:007.2 % slower18:007.8 % slower

Timed by TomTom on both sides, CoitsMoves's routes were 6–9% slower than TomTom's car route (quicker on only 3–6 of 36 trips). TomTom gives no credit for filtering or bus lanes, but we cannot claim CoitsMoves is faster on this data.

Fuel & CO₂e from fewer miles (125cc)
TripMiles savedFuelCO₂e
Camden2.20.09 L0.18 kg
Harrow → Catford15.10.61 L1.26 kg

Assumptions: a 125cc uses 2.5 L/100 km (about 113 mpg; our benchmark assumption for a typical 125cc scooter). CO₂e: 2.069 kg per litre of petrol, from the UK Government GHG conversion factors 2025, petrol (average biofuel blend).

From our test trips: CoitsMoves savings benchmark, 11–14 Oct 2026 (routes from our production server; car comparison via the TomTom Routing API). Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze were not queried in the benchmark; the Uber and Apple figures are single rider-reported trips.
